Sandy Stellnberger is a caring and supportive psychotherapist who helps people work through challenges with mood, stress, and everyday life struggles. Using practical tools like CBT and mindfulness, Sandy gently guides clients toward greater balance, resilience, and well-being. Her goal is to walk alongside each person on their journey to healing and positive change.
Sometimes circumstances and events in our lives creates a tangled mess of our thoughts and feelings, which leave us feeling helpless, lost, confused, anxious, stressed or overwhelmed. Through my life experiences, education, skills, and training I can assist you to unravel the thoughts and emotions that are preventing you from moving forward to living a normal and healthy life. My approach is multidimensional and integrate techniques from Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and other modalities for anxiety, depression, male issues, teens, career planning, phobias, stress, physical or psychosomatic disorder, behavioural problems, marital and couples’ relationship. I have a B.A. (Hons) in Psychology from York University, Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology (MACP) through Yorkville University and a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapist of Ontario.
I will work with you in a non-judgemental, compassionate, & caring environment to address the feelings and behaviours arising from inner conflicts of your thoughts and core beliefs. This process involves a collaborative approach to develop useful skills and tools to help you navigate life challenges.
When I am not working, I enjoy spending time reading, gardening, and volunteering in my community.
